Pet therapy program

Children’s Health℠ Pet Therapy Program helps deliver the comforts of home throughout patient rooms, ambulatory clinics, and the playrooms. The power of an animal to promote positive coping in an unfamiliar or even scary environment during challenging situations is amazing. The benefits of pet-assisted therapy can also include:

  • Reduction of anxiety

  • Lowered blood pressure

  • Better focus and fewer distractions

  • Normalization of the hospital environment

This program was launched by and continues to rely on philanthropic support from community members like you. To help sustain the program, consider donating now.
