Meet the staff

Natasha Malone MHM, MBA, BS, LSSGB, LVN is a Program Manager for the School-Based Telehealth Program. Natasha always knew she wanted to be a pediatric nurse from an early age and dreamed of working for the “red balloon” one day. On May 15, 2000, her dream came true. Her healthcare journey started in the ambulatory clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant, where she managed all the clinical operations. In 2009, she graduated with her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree and decided to leave Children’s Health to pursue her nursing career at a family medicine clinic. There she became well versed in medical complex care patients learned about the healthcare disparity gaps. She also worked for multiple nursing agencies to provide medical care to medically fragile children in their homes as a home health nurse.

In 2013, Natasha had the opportunity to reestablish her roots at Children’s Health as a traveling home health nurse. As time progressed, she transitioned into the Virtual Health space and has made that department her home since 2015. Her initial role was to serve at Dallas Texas Can, Concord Church and Circle of Support Dallas as a virtual health nurse to utilize the School-Based Telemedicine program. Currently, she is a Program Manager educating and supporting other school nurses on how to successfully utilize the program on their campus.

Throughout the years, she continued pursuing her education and now has a Bachelor’s in Science and a Master’s in Business-Healthcare Management degrees. She recently celebrated 20 years of service at Children’s Health and continues to be an invaluable asset for what it takes to fulfill the mission of “Making Life Better for Children”. She stated, “During my journey, I have leaned on my faith and family for support. I have had many sacrifices, but it has made me resilient, compassionate and learned to not give up.”

Natasha enjoys being a proud mom of three young adults: Jazmon 24, Elijah 23 and Vanessa 17. You can often find her making memories with family and friends, traveling to the beach, serving in the community and trying new adventures/foods.
